"I've never given an order like that," Xavier said blankly.

Despite that, Tracy refused to leave. Even when his bodyguards came to kick her out, she clung onto the furniture and refused to let go.

"The people who beat me up said I'd offended you, Mr Lane. Please have mercy on me—I don't want to die here." She sobbed hysterically. Her face was covered in cuts. It looked like they would leave scars.

He didn't feel like intervening, but it sounded like someone had taught her a lesson in his name. He couldn't possibly let that slide.

"Tell me everything in detail."

He made the bodyguards let her go. Upon being released, she kneeled on the floor and began telling him what had happened.

"It was the same day I met you. After I headed back from work, I was dragged out of my bed at around two or three o'clock in the morning.

"They beat me up and cussed at me. They said it was audacious of me to provoke you. Since then, I've been assigned to entertain guests."
