Watching Lucy and Matice dancing made me smile. I felt like she was my baby sister, but she was, in fact, three years older. I felt guilty for not inserting myself into her life sooner, watching from afar, trying to keep her safe. I failed her in so many ways, and yet it never broke her. She was going through hell right now. Astrid was barely holding on. If she weren't a Bennet wolf, she would have lost her that night. The thought of losing a key piece of yourself is something no wolf should go through. Vader was so much a part of who I was. I would be broken without him. I shook the thought off as I grabbed the drinks from the bar and brought them over to our table, shoving my feelings away and plastering my cool guy smile on my face.
