I couldn't sleep a wink, consumed by thoughts of how Lucas's presence in my life would ruin everything. I knew I needed to get my triplets, Lana, Landon, and Liam, ready for school, so I gathered them into the car. They were full of energy, as usual, and I had to work hard to calm them down.

I stood by the front door, my face filled with a mixture of concern and determination. "Alright, guys, buckle up and remember to behave in school today," I reminded my three children, Lana, Landon, and Liam.

"Mommy, can we stop by the park after school?" Lana asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Landon chimed in, his voice filled with enthusiasm, "Yeah, and can we get ice cream too?"
