Azrael pov:Waking in the morning I couldn't find Amilia beside me, thinking she was exploring, I got out of bed and headed for the bathroom. Amilia pov:Waking in the middle of the night I reached around for the warm body I had grown used to. Not finding it I sit up and look around, the balcony doors open, Azrael standing outside as the drapes flow from the wind.Pulling myself out of bed I made my way over to her, she leaned on the railing, looking at the lush garden in the back. Running my hands up her back slowly I move them to her waist and press myself into her.The smell of smoke fills my nose as I keep her close. Amilia pov:The drive to her parents house was quiet, I was nervous despite keeping myself calm and neutral. Az had her hand gripping my thigh tightly, she seemed just as nervous as me.They lived in a manor just like her proper home, only somehow this place was bigger. It was outright huge. It was outside the city which meant we'd be staying the night here.Arriving at the place the car door was opened for me as two men took the car to park it for us. Amilia pov:We got up early that morning, her parents were gone due to needing to attend some meeting. We ate breakfast with Damien before taking our leave. Since then she's been pretty distant, barely talking with me, not visiting, not even the goodmorning texts I had gotten used to.It was a week of rising tension and frustration between us, I just wanted her to talk it out with me. Amilia pov:"What do you want?" I groaned in satisfaction as strong fingers worked themselves along my back."Nothing more than to relax you my love." Azrael whispered. Amilia pov:I'm not a very sentimental person. I think the most sentimental thing I've done is spend that day with Azrael in her library. Outside of that I've never really done things that are considered nice or gentle.Somehow being with Az has softened me, it's made me appreciate the small things. The days I spend teasing her, the nights of passion, even early mornings of us just laying down and whispering to each other. I can tell she's obsessed with me, at least if her constant smoldering gaze on me has proof to it.I didn't notice at first but, she watches me, not in a creepy way, more so of an admiration type of way. Azrael pov:"We're going to be late!" Adjusting my suit and fixing my hair I stumble out of the bathroom.
