Azrael pov:"I know where to go." Dropping the folder of stuff I try to leave but Rose stops me, grabbing my arm and making me face her."I'm coming with-""No, stay with him. Send some men 30 minutes after I leave." I try to pull away but her grip is tight in my arm."Why? What-""I don't have time to explain, I've wasted an hour and a half already. The place is far, I have to go now." I rip my arm from her and book it out of the chopshop.Going out to my car I get in and take off immediately, trying to swerve through traffic and people. The house was almost an hour away, I haven't been there since I was a kid. It's Ryker…He's behind this?I don't understand…_____________________Amilia pov:"She's so fucking stupid." I grunted as Jeremy drove us to Axe's place."She's being smart and careful. You would too if your friend was taken." I rolled my eyes and sunk into the seat. I wanted to go with her, I could help, I'm not sure how, but I know I could. Instead she has me dragged away
Azrael pov:"Where am I?" Everything hurt, my body, my head, all of it. Amilia held my hand tighter and smiled at me."The chopshop." She looked tired but relieved. I groaned as I sat up, wincing when I felt a stitch strain. "Easy, you shouldt be moving." She placed a hand on my chest to try and move me back down. I shook my head and continued to sit up."Lily, where's Lily? Is she alright?" I kept trying to get out but she firmly sat me down, not letting me move."You need to rest, you've only just woken up." She cupped my cheeks and tilted my head to look at her.Sighing, I nodded my head and sat back on the bed. The room looked a little messy, some clothes and food wrapping on the side table."How long was I out for?" Worry gripped my heart. She smiled and sat beside me."Only a week.""A WEEK!?" I shot up but she pulled me back down. My body screamed at me for the sudden movement."Sit, you're moving too much.""I've been out for a week? Where are the others? What's been happenin
Amilia pov:Things at the manor have been hectic to say the least, I've caught Damien and Jeremy at least 3 times in the past week. It was bad every time, they just couldn't do it somewhere normal?Axe usually kept to himself, worked out in the gym, or was dragged to watch romcoms with Emily. I pray for him, those movies are awful. On my end I have been decently ignored by Azrael. She stayed late in her study, did work calls and paperwork from there, or was hanging with Axe and her brother. We had just recently removed her stitches and she was feeling fine because of it. Now she wouldn't stay still... or at least hang around me.Which is weird, she's usually more than happy to be around me. Especially if I'm trying to get into her pants. I've been looking for her for the past 30 minutes and still can't find her, I think she's hiding from me."Damien, have you seen your sister?" I stopped the guy from walking. He rubs his neck and toys with the towel around him, he had just gotten back
Azrael pov:Things have stayed relatively calm within my house, the worst is Emily getting drunk or my brother and Jeremy doing something stupid. Tonight neither of those have happened and I'm grateful. We all decided to do a big dinner together, music playing in the background while I cooked with Amilia. The others either sat at the table or were grabbing and making other things for dinner.I didn't really pay attention to most things, just happy to have Amilia by my side as I cooked Spaghetti. She didn't really help but I didn't mind, I like when she doesn't, it makes her a true princess.Currently she's drinking a glass of red wine and standing beside me, she had a small frown on her face. Turning to me she leans against the counter with an unpleasant face."How long are you gonna let Axe stare at your ass?" I lift a brow and stare at her. I thought I felt eyes on me, I just chose to brush it off."Are you jealous?" I teased her, leaning down and pressing a kiss to her cheek."Yes,
Azrael pov:My eyes shoot open as I grab the gun from under my pillow. Sitting up I aim the weapon at the person standing above my bed. They step back and hold their hands up. Getting a better look I recognize who it is."Rose? What the hell?" I whisper, slowly and quietly getting out of bed."Do you pull a gun on everyone?" She said a little too loud. Looking at Amilia I find her still sleeping peacefully."Let's talk somewhere else. I don't want to wake her." I grab some sweats and a shirt before leading us out of the room.Shutting the door quietly we move to my study, going out to the balcony. Grabbing a cigarette I light it up and wait for her to speak."We're all here. Lily is in her room sleeping and Johnathan has moved Claudio into his own room." She leaned on the railing, looking over the vast land behind my house."Is he awake?" I let out a cloud of smoke. She shakes her head and sighs."No, but I think it's safer out here anyway." Rose was never one to worry, not even over
Amilia pov:I have been looking for Azrael for 10 minutes, I got distracted when Rose and Lily were playing the knife game. Lily almost lost a finger. Going upstairs I look inside the rooms in hopes to find her.Checking the library I find her sitting on the floor with a few scattered books around her. My mind rushes to previous memories here as smile gracing my lips. She looks up from her book and greets me with a warm smile. Her eyes shine in the afternoon light coming through, her body relaxed when while sitting. She holds a hand out and pats her lap, rolling my eyes, I take her hand and join her. Leaning my back against her front I let my body relax into her embrace."I was looking for you." I take the book from her hand, opening it up to read."You found me." She brushes some of my hair behind my ear and rests her chin on my shoulder. A soft kiss is pressed to my exposed skin."Why are you hiding away?" My eyes trace over the book, taking in the words of fairytale and monsters."
Amilia pov:I'm woken from my sleep by a loud explosion rocking the house. Sitting up I quickly jump out of bed and throw on clothes. The smell of smoke fills my nose, I could hear yelling coming outside my room.Grabbing a gun from the nightstand I throw on shoes and carefully move out of the room. The house already feels hot, the sound of crackling and shouting comes from further away. My heart thuds in my chest as I run down the hall.Getting to the stairs I see fire start to come up the side of the stairs, it creeps closer as I try to find anyone else. A door busts open and shows a man in a green mask carrying Emily. Aiming my gun at him I land a shot into his thigh, making him stop and drop her.Footsteps rush up the stairs as another person in a green mask tackles me to the floor. Their body isn't too heavy, nor is it as rough as a man's. I look up and find the faceless green mask staring back.Their hands wasted no time in wrapping around my throat and choking me. Clawing at th
Amilia pov:2 weeks…That's how long we were here for. Staying inside the chopshop, helping Damein keep things afloat while Azrael recovers. It was hard, she was hurt badly, I thought with her initial freak out she would hurt herself more.It only got worse when Damien told her about their mother. She was silent for a long time. She didn't cry or say anything, she just held Damien while he wept. Soothing him till he could handle more burdens then needed. It wasn't till he left did she react. Clutching herself and crying like a child. She cussed, thrashed, and screamed in anger at her mother's hospitalization. I held her the whole night, trying to bring peace into her quickly crumbling life. After that night she didn't talk about it anymore. She didn't cry again, she didn't bring it up, she wouldn't even acknowledge her outburst. She snuck away to visit a couple times but mostly stayed here besides that.2 weeks of her healing and suffering by herself even though I was at her side. She
