Chapter 41: Please, Don’t Leave Me

The sky fell hitting my head when our gray Ferrari left the white building, it runs as speed as lightning, leaving Hammond City in the back.

My face rested against the window, feeling the icy rain that fell onto the window, by that point we had almost reached Mr. Vampire’s mansion.

On our way back home, only rain noises and speedy engine sounds fill my ears. While holding back my tears, my fingers played with the raindrops behind the shield, I chased the uncatchable things again but this time it was the raindrops, not Mr. Vampire.

“Miss, we arrived” Eddie declared; he woke me up from my gloomy thoughts.

My shoulders lifted as I heard him, I kept my mouth silent and just smile at him. At the time, the guards who were guarding the mansion entrance started to leave their location and bring an umbrella to cover my head.

“Thank you”

I thanked the guard who helped me that time without looking at the person who was helping me; because the rain blurs my sight, I didn’t know it was Mr. Vampire
