“What’s keeping them?” Eon paced the small corridor that was extended from the door a few feet away from where Lina was. He had been cracking his knuckles because his anxiety had been built up because Lina had been locked inside the room with Masaya for over twelve hours!
His father left because of some important business that he had to deal with, thus, he has been alone, waiting for Lina and Masaya to finish the ritual for over four hours. The wait is driving him insane. He raked his fingers over his hair—the action that had been done so many times for he couldn’t do anything while he waited.
This area is off-limits to most members of the pack. He wasn’t even allowed to be here but he begged his father. This place is just for the elders of the pack and the Alpha. Those who have to undergo a ritual were being blindfolded and given something for them not to find this place. He had taken some medicinal tea when he came here with Lina.<
