Pain and Disappointment

“Dear, I had been thinking if I could post the photos of the flowers that you drew to my social media.” Beatrice asked while Lina was weighing the flour that she needed for the bread that they were going to bake.

Beatrice offered to teach her to bake as an exchange for drawing the flowers in her garden. They are in Beatrice’s kitchen learning the art of baking. The kitchen smells the aroma of freshly baked bread and cookies because they had been baking for hours. Lina wasn’t able to do what she was thinking of doing because Beatrice came to her apartment right after Eon left and asked her to come to her house.

Now, it’s already past midnight and they are still in Beatrice kitchen baking bread. Beatrice told her that they are going to give away the bread to some homeless person not far from where they live, so she doesn’t have to worry about wasting anything.

“Is this the last one?” She asked about the dough that she put inside the machine that would knead it.
