Time To Say Goodbye

Lina was ecstatic when she returned to her hotel room late at night. The owner of the house was an old charming woman. She’s a retired professor and lives alone while her son lives in London. Lina came home late for she had a nice conversation with her new landlady, Mrs. Gobles.

Mrs. Gobles just wanted Lina to call her Beatrice. They had an engaging conversation about flowers. Lina promised to teach her flower arrangement once she moved to the extra room that Beatrice was renting out. The room was big enough for one person but small by Lina’s standard. I mean, she never stayed in a regular room in any hotel. She always lives in the penthouse. But the room that Beatrice was renting out is basically a small flat and not just a room. It has its own kitchen, bathroom, receiving area, and a small study. The bedroom has just a decent size closet. And yet, Lina loves it for the small study opened to the garden.

And the house has enough privacy that Lina likes. She
