Chapter 80: After The Ceremony

Selena ran to his arms and jumped into a hug. Her tears wet his shirt, which made Lucas really worried.

"Hey, what happened? Why are you crying?" he asked pulling her by the shoulder to face him.

"I… I'm just exhausted. This is too overwhelming to me, I can't do it."

"Baby, come on. You can't think like that. It didn't even start, you need to be stronger than that. Tell me how it was." Lucas pulled her to the bed, and they sat on it to talk.

Selena calmed herself down and told him how the ceremony was. She also told him about the conversation she had with Bryce before and after the event.

"Now it makes sense. You had a tough day. But it will get better with time. And when it's not, I'll be here to comfort you."

Selena hugged him again and thanked him. She couldn't put into words how she appreciated him being there.

"When are we telling the packs about us? I mean… I'm scared to death they won't accept you and be mad at me." Selena said afraid.

"Wow! Why wouldn't they accept me?" Lucas p
