Chapter 28 - His Smile

ZAVAN closed his eyes.

From behind I could see the snake approaching quickly. Zavan was still clinging as the head of the huge snake slowly approached us.

"Z-zavan!" I whispered. But he still closed his eyes, I was a little nervous to see that we were surrounded by a huge snake. It looks like it intends to squeeze us after eating.

"Zavan? Zavan what are you doing?" I was nervous to even talk. He didn’t respond, instead he held my hand tightly making sure I wouldn’t let go of him.

I cried out in shock when suddenly a sharp lightning drew in the sky. The sky was not dark, there was no warning of rain, but sharp and successive lightning flashes continued to create noise through thunder.

Is the Prince doing this?
