I couldn’t let him leave. I had to stop him.

The thought hadn’t finished forming in my head before I found myself running after him.

The old me would have stabbed herself in the eye with a needle a million times, before she would follow after a man.

But this is no longer about me. There is a bigger picture. A more important person that I need to consider. My baby.

It is more important than my pride or whatever.

“You know, if you weren’t so intent on pissing me off we would have already finished our conversation.”

I paused right by the door he wanted to walk out of.

He cocked a brow, looking down at me with those blue eyes that were always so intense.

“Somehow this is my fault.” He stated with a slight scoff.

“I’m glad we agree on something.” I muttered.

Without giving him a chance to retort, I blurted what was on my mind. “If we don’t find a solution, my parents will put the child up for adoption. You’ll never see or know it. If it’s even a he or she.”
