Natash's POV:

I watched Jaclyn·Dills' movements and mechanically moved closer.

Jaclyn·Dills threw an onion to me, instructing, "Peel this first."

I squatted next to the trash can on the floor, peeling the onion while tears welled up in my eyes, stealing glances at Jaclyn·Dills.
