Chapter 116

Lines of confusion formed on my forehead as I glanced from Maya's face to that of her aunt. What were they both talking about? I was as lost as a stray cat. 

Her aunt sat behind the desk and she looked to be in her middle twenties, but very young. My eyes involuntarily drifted to her boobs and noticed the white long sleeve she was putting on wasn't thick enough because I could see that she was wearing something pink inside. Her boobs were palm size. 

My eyes went higher and noticed glasses sitting comfortably on the brim of her nose. She rested both her elbows on the desk and clasped her fingers, glaring crossly at Maya. 

"Please, don't tell my parents." Maya begged, raising her head for the first time since we arrived her grandfather's hospital. "They'll kill me and never trust me again."

I was lost once again. I felt like a foreigner in a strange land and it felt like nothing they said made any sense to me. Did Maya kill someone? What in God'
