The warmth of sunlight caressed my skin and I smiled with my eyes closed, enjoying how waking up in the morning to being strong and healthy felt. I turned to face the door and smiled even brighter when I remembered today was the day Cameron would return.
Where is Maya? My subconscious asked when I noticed I was alone one the bed.
I opened my eyes and raised my head to look around the room. After sighting her body sprawled on the floor, I chuckled and returned my head back to my white pillow.
Suddenly, a deafening scream made it's way into my room–I jerked, my heart leapt into my throat. What had happened?
"No!" The voice sounded like that of my mother.
Instantly, I sat up and wondered what was going on. Were we getting robbed?
My hands clutched my duvet close to my chest and I fixed my gaze on the door.
"How did it happen?" She asked breathl
My brows knitted in a frown and I was more than confused. What the hell was this girl yapping about?"Me?" I pointed at my chest and she removed the pillow from her face."No, me." She backed me."What did I do?" I inquired, bumping my brows together. They were already starting to hurt–I had been doing too much of frowning. She ignored me for a while before opening up. "You keep being all mushy mushy around me when you know what happened between me and Cammie.""I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel that way." I apologized, reaching out a hand to touch her shoulder."Stop." She snapped, shoving my hand
We reached the hospital in good health and got down in front of the building as usual. Tristan parked and made his way to us so we could go in together.I got into Cameron's room with Tristan behind me and Maya waiting outside for us to bring her in. It was my plan to surprise Cameron."Cammie!" I yelled, running past my mother to hug him on the bed.He looked so weak and appeared like someone that hadn't eaten in weeks. Of course, he hadn't; he had been in a coma, struggling to stay alive and mother had been with him throughout. There was no other human genuine love like that of a mother–cherish her if you still see her everyday."Hey... Baby sister." He rubbed my head
The way he called or should I say the way he drawled my name felt like I had heard this person speak before, but I couldn't place my fingertips on where I had heard this voice."Mine." His voice was venomous and a lump settled in my throat. It was him, my stalker. He got to his feet, dusted his jacket and walked away, leaving me in ultimate fear. Sweat raced in rivulets down my back as I froze on my seat. What the hell did he want from me?I took in deep breaths, trying to keep my composure so as not to bring attention to me. It was a shame I didn't get a glimpse of his face."Babe?" A firm and cold hand gripped my shoulder gently and I jerked, heart almost breaking into pieces from fear."Damn!" I held my chest, hoping it'd calm my pounding heart down. "You scared the spirit out of me.""Are you okay?" He sat opposite me and held my hand."Should I be per
My feet took me away from the house as fast as they could with tears rolling down my cheeks uncontrollably. How could he choose to hurt me with Lola? Of all the girls he chose her and not some other bitch. I breathed heavily with hot tears burning my eye lids before rolling down my cheeks. My vision was now blurry with clouds of tears obstructing the visibility of where I was running to. My heart pounded so hard and my throat was dry.Suddenly, time stopped and my whole life flashed in front of me. Something unexpected hit me and sent my body crashing on the floor harshly. The pit of my stomach clenched and pain spider webbed my entire body.I was so confused, what the actual hell was wrong with me?
My brows bumped together in a scowl. What the actual heck were my eyes seeing?I scrolled through the pictures on his screen and blew a fuse in my head. The unusual big eyes of his maid stared back at me from Tristan's screen. She had on a devilish grin with a freakishly long tongue curved outside her lips. Both her hands cupped her naked boobs, shielding her nipples with the caption; can't wait till you get home.I slide my thumb to the right and beheld a picture of her huge ass."What the fuck is this?" I threw the phone on Tristan's body as anger coursed through my veins. "I knew it!"I got to my feet and Tristan stared at his phone, speechless. "I can explain.""Explain t
My forehead puckered and anger stirred inside of me. What was she doing here after everything that happened that day?She stepped forward with what seemed like a lengthy novel held close to her chest. Her contact lense was similar to Tristan's eye color–baby blue."What are you doing here?" I questioned, getting to my feet with balled fists and Lola stopped in her tracks, eyes filled with guilt."Jade, calm down." Tristan held my wrist and drew me to sit down.Lola moved closer and the gentle breeze blew her knee length, flowery chiffon dress around her thighs. "Jade, can we please talk?""Nope." I folded my arms over my chest and averted my gaze elsewhere with a
I stretched on my bed and unlatched my eye lids to behold the beautiful rising of the sun. The rays were cascading into my room in a straight line. I yawned and sighted Maya beside me, sleeping with saliva running down her cheek. Gross!I shrugged, maybe it'd be nice for me to go back to sleep. After all I didn't have much to do today except go out on a date with my dad.Last night, I had cried myself to sleep because of what happened between Tristan and I. Relationships are stressful! Heart break was something I couldn't deal with, but here I was with a bleeding heart. Putting a bullet in his head wouldn't be wrong right?Instantly, I jerked when the sound of someone–perhaps a bastard, banged on my door like he or she wasn't civilized. It stopped, so I laid my head back on the bed and was already
My eyes were narrowed to crinkled slits as I watched her display what I considered to be stupidity."You did this, you're so inhumane. How could you even say he lied and was only a hormonal teenager?" She asked. "Boys get raped too, dummy." She poked my head and I slapped her finger the hardest I could.Bellamy arrived with both their ice creams and flashed me a tight lipped smile. "Hi.""Don't say hi to her, she doesn't worth it." Lola encircled his arm and pulled him down to sit beside her. "She doesn't worth niceness.""What did she do?" Bellamy asked, arching his brows and tilting his head to the right to view his-was she his play thing or w
