( Naomi's point of view )
My stomach tightened as I forced a smile unto my face, keeping my lip in a straight line. My heart beat was beating faster than normal and I suddenly felt the urge to fall down.
"Marenda, meet Naomi," Steven introduced me to her. With a one million dollar smile, she stretched her hands forward for an handshake.
I just couldn't find the strength to stretch my hands forward, before I could even do that, She pulled me into a tight hug.
"It's nice meeting you," She said looking me in the eyes.
"Babe, you didn't tell me she was this pretty," Marenda said to Steven who shrugged. I wondered what he had to of her about me.
Marenda leaned into Steven as he held unto her waist, I stood there looking at the both of them with a broken heart, what went wrong and how did I start to fall for Steven? I couldn't help but wonder.

I felt as ease having a friend by my side and not sucking around thinking of Steven who hurt me.
