Chapter 28: Negotiation

Eva POV

I opened my eyes and looked at the watch. It was already noon. I slept like a baby with saliva dripping by the end of my mouth. I was in no mood to get off the blanket itself. My back actually had started to hurt because of the wierd position I took to sleep last night. However, I wiped my venom around my lips and threw the blanket as I dragged myself into the washroom. It took me another half an hour sitting in the tub.

After a beautiful sleep, I had almost forgot about my goals. A cool shower bought the toxic grief back in my head. The water droplets were like acid burning on my skin and I was bearing the burns like a brave woman. I allowed the water droplets to hurt me for more than half an hour mixing up my emotions with tears and the acid.

After bathing, I walked out to change up. I had bought nothing with me and I was about to wear the jute bag again but I was kind of lucky. On the sofa were some clothes kept. This must be Sid. I picked up the clothes and instantly got e
