Chapter 38: Living Together

Eva POV

I again was homeless and had nowhere to go. I called a cab and swiped my card. I should have never given the money from red rubies to my father. Now, I am all wasted. My credit card is near to empty because my father shares the details and he is indeed using the money here.

"Where do you want to go ma'am?", the cab driver asked.

I looked at him helpless because I didn't even had enough money to complete a half kilometer ride either. Without thinking much, I sat in the cab and gave the driver the directions to Damon's house. We reached near the gate. Since it was a huge mansion covering a huge area, only private vehicles were allowed to enter the venue.

The cab driver stopped at the gate, still half a kilometer away from the building and turned to look at me. He wants me to pay indeed. I smiled coyly at him and then called Damon.
