"Harriet, why won't you play with me?" Noah asked, knocking on Harriet's window.

Noah had been outside Harriet's house, maybe half an hour. He just wanted to get Harriet to play with him. Actually Noah knew Harriet wouldn't want to be invited to play considering that Harriet was sad to know her mother was sick, but Noah didn't want to sit still and do nothing.
