Chapter 88

There was a sound of engine , and the beast buggered off !

Hayley was still shocked,her legs freezed ,she had to pinch herself  to see wether she was dreaming or not. The color drained from her face, making her eyes too large for their sockets.  Dylan was the one coming on his bike. As soon as he saw Hayley,he rushed to her and put his jacket on her shoulders.

" Hey ,baby! Are you okay?" , Dylan asked her.

Hayley's horrified gasp sounded like a trumpet in Dylan's ear. She stumbled backward, trembling hand to her lips...

" This.. this can't be real..Have ..have you seen what i saw? "

"The stray dog? Yes ! He nearly bit you..too bad ,you could have rabies. Give me your hand , let me see if you're hurt. "

He took Hayley's hand and tried to examine them ,but Hayley refused.

" It wasn't a stray dog! I..i saw it clearly ! It was like a ..like a wolf ..but even bigger ! Like an enormous beast! I swear!"
