The sudden, shrill ringing of the phone echoed through the quiet basement, almost making both Celeste and Jeremy jump in surprise.
"Jesus!" Jeremy exclaimed, his voice filled with disbelief. "You didn't mute your phone when you sneak into someone else's house?!"
