“A maid was killed?” Selda asked, shocked as Soli nodded in reply.

“Yes, Your Majesty. No one knows the source of her death. Her body is being burnt.” She informed her further.

Selda licked her lower lip as she reasoned it. A maid was killed in the palace not long after the kitchen was set on fire. She was yet to start playing her cards but it seemed someone had started already.

“Who do you think did it? And why?” She asked, staring into space.

Soli dropped her head. “I dare not think like that.” Her eyes moved in their sockets as she bit the inside of her cheeks.

“Whoever is doing this is going to make a turn soon and I can't wait for it.” Her eyes glinted mischievously.

“Your Majesty, it is high time you had your afternoon bath and nap.” The Head Maid told her as she stepped in. Griselda raised her gaze to her and she smiled as if she was expecting her and she came at the right time.

“Come closer, Samara.” She ordered, making the Head Maid’s brows spasm for a second before she moved
