I'm hopeful that when we go to this next pack, the man we want to see is one of the pups taken from Silver Moon. Teegan's P.O.V. We all load into the minibus, and it's almost full. It seats twenty, and that includes the driver and passenger seats. Logan and Emily joined us at the rental office for the bus. So there are only three seats left, but having everyone together feels good. One of the guards is driving, and another is sitting in the passenger seat, so the rest of us are in the back. "I'm so glad we were able to join you. I'm going to be as big as a house soon." Emily says, smiling at me. I look at her in shock. "You're pregnant?" I ask. Teegan's P.O.V. We all keep looking at the vehicle following us, and then I get an idea. I don't want any distractions while we're trying to help others, and these people are an annoyance. "Let's pull over and get gas," I tell the others. Joel looks at me, confused. "Why? We have more than half a tank." He says. "I'm tired of them following us, waiting for them to do something," I explain. "What do you have in mind?" Joel questions me. I smile and lean back in my seat. "Let's go to the gas station and get gas. Once we see where they park, we get off the bus, and only one person continues driving. The rest of us will hide and shift into our wolves. Near St. Louis, MissouriTeegan's P.O.V. It takes us almost six hours to get back to Missouri and the Blood Fangs pack. Every time Blake begins to wake up, Scott knocks him out again. I was impressed with Scott's strength but also concerned about what he'd been through as a pup. He had said he was tortured, and the thought of someone torturing any pup breaks my heart. This trip has made me realize that my life with my adoptive parents paled in comparison to the trauma that some of these wolves have been through. Scott's P.O.V. I feel sick as I lay in the bed in my hotel room. I'm glad that we killed everyone from the Blood Fangs, but I don't enjoy torturing people. I could tell the others weren't into it either. However, some of my distress leaves me when I think about everything they did and how many pups they hurt or sold. I can't wait to see my parents at Silver Moon, but I needed time to get my head around everything. I also wanted to help reconnect people with their families like this group has done for me. I had always thought my birth parents didn't want me and sold me to the Blood Fangs. Now I know that's not true. The pack that Blake sold me to tortured me every day. Teegan's P.O.V. I can't stop smiling as I look at Scott and Brooke. From the way they reacted to each other when they first met, I know they truly need each other. She goes to pack her things, and Scott doesn't try to follow, but she pulls him with her. I know what we did to the Blood Fangs got to Scott, and I can feel how distressed he is by it. None of us were happy to do what we did. However, knowing what they had done to countless cubs helped us push away our reservations. In the files we had sent to the palace, they found countless pictures of the sadistic things they did, not only to pups but to adults, too.
