Hope

I was setting up the bed, when the door opened, Ace and Clay walking though.

" You're up!"

I nod. I had woken from my sleep a while ago.

Ace looks at me, then to Clay.

" I'll leave y'all to it,"

He leaves and I look at Clay confused. Leave us to what?

Clay smiles at me brightly, then takes his hands from behind his back.

Flowers!

He gave them to me and I smelled them.

I love roses, but what did I do to deserve this? I haven't gotten flowers in a long time.

"Thanks Clay,"

I got up and hugged him

" You're welcome my princess ,"

He says hugging me back. Am I dreaming? He's being so sweet

I couldn't help but smile at him and the roses

I put the roses in the vase next to the bedside table, then took his hand that was stretched out to me.

Clay leads me into the bathroom and I gasp.

The dimly lit Rose petals were sprinkled everywhere, leading up to the bathtub where candles were lit. The air filled with a calming flowery scent.
