I think I’ve roughly spent two days in Ethan’s house, and for those two days he has been nothing but generous to me, taking care of me like the sister he never had.

The only concern I had was, that he didn’t let me have my phone or my belongings, it was as though he was keeping me from reaching everyone else.

I didn’t mind though, but I wanted to at least let Melissa know that I was alright. “Isn’t it a problem if you don’t go to school?” I found myself asking Ethan who was only focused on peeling the apples in his hands, I didn’t know he could take care of a person like this. He glanced at me and then smiled, before shrugging his shoulders and continuing to peel the apples.

“I don’t care what happens to that.” He muttered, something about his voice got me worried. “School sucks anyways.”

“Wouldn’t your father be worried about you?” I asked again and he paused for a while, he stopped peeling the apple and for a split second, he glared at me.
