Valentina’s P.O.V I heard we would be going on a school trip during the weekends, our class would be traveling on one of Mr. Lord's expensive super Yachts for sightseeing and I also heard we would be stopping at Kiwi Resort and Island. It sounds like so much fun and I would love to go but all students are required to pay a fee, the fee is something I can’t afford, so I won’t be going. I picked my books in my bag and rested my head on my desk, I have a brain-splitting headache, probably got it from crying too much last night. “I heard Valentina won’t be going on the trip.” I heard Lucille’s voice, I rolled my eyes, and I wasn’t in the mood today. “I guess that’s what happens when you come from such a laughable background.” I heard laughs from everyone, but it didn’t matter to me anymore, I will be submitting the letter on Monday and I will be leaving here. The thought of withdrawing from the school gives me so much peace, it was almost as if a boulder was lifted off my shoulders.

Ethan’s P.O.V Father is such a clever person, since his wedding is coming up during the weekends and I had threatened not to go just because I wanted to disgrace him, he decided to bring up a school trip. Valentina’s P.O.V Just as soon as I successfully avoided Ethan I bumped into Travis on my way back in, a small scream escaped my parted lips as I was about to crash into the flooring, he grabbed my arms and steadied me. Ethan’s P.O.V“Valentina,” I didn’t believe the shaky voice that called her name to be my own, I felt my heart sink when she didn’t respond, I hesitated for a minute, but when I finally touched her; her body was frozen.No, this can’t be happening, I withdrew my hands and stared down at her… was she dead?
