“Where have you been?” I heard my father’s voice as soon as I stepped into the living room, I turned back slightly and proceeded to ignore him.

I didn’t know he had been back from his business trip, Junis didn’t inform me about his arrival, and it would seemed his return was some sort of impromptu. “I’ve been waiting for you.”

“Why?” I scoffed taking off my bags and throwing them at the next available maid, she knew what to do with it. “Don’t tell me you missed me a lot during your trip, I thought that whore went with you, you don’t usually care about anything once she is with you.”

“How long do you think you can keep doing this?” He suddenly snapped at me, it was a bit surprising, but it wasn’t scary because I never once feared nor respected my father. “How long are you going to drag my name in the mud?”

“I wonder what you heard this time but it gives me so much pleasure it has you at the edge.” I chuckled making him even angrier. “Adam give me the car keys.”
