Chapter 41 His Dream

Peaceful.

Everything is peaceful.

It's been a week after Mark Saunters was arrested and Sophia almost shot Vasili in his office. And the previous days were somewhat uneventful.

After leaving the estate the day he brought Sophia to have a look at Amelia, he brought her to the facility. She was treated just enough to watch her father's fate inside the prison.

She was detained in a room with a huge tv. The footage inside the prison was played all day long with its clear audio. She watched and heard how her father howls in pain with the torture he received. She watched his father together with their cohorts slowly losing their life.

She howls her grief and pain. And like music to his ears Vasili enjoys them.

It's a three-day misery for them until they become too weak to even open their eyes, including Sophia. With a wound and nothing to eat and drink, she quickly deteriorated. It's a painful death and it appeased the dark fury deep inside him.

On the last day, he visited her to glo
