Chapter 37

We arrive at the Fae lands, and to say I’m in awe is a severe understatement. The fiery night skies have ascended, and the crimson moon bleeds through the foggy black clouds drifted softly across it. It looks chaotic but enthralling.

I’m ready to rest, but the sight of these lands’ strip me out of my state of drowsiness. I have never witnessed trees so huge; they are ten times the size of a normal-sized tree and rage in different colours, too. Blue, pink, purple, yellow, red – they all glow so beautifully in the blackness. 

The tree leaves dance and sways in the soft, cool breeze shining their lights over the sleeping creatures huddled in the lengthly grass and over the lake as toads hop out and disappear a moment later.
