Chapter 19 | Clemency

Ember shoots a sharp gaze toward Raverine once the sleeveless guy walked past the white curtain and left the three of them alone near the counter. Ember slightly pushed Raverine’s shoulder and gave him a skeptical expression.

“What was that? Vape? You want a vape? Don’t you want answers?” Ember asked in a low voice. “We are just here to ask, Raverine. We don’t have time for expensive, chocolate vape.”
