KAELYNN'S POV

I was staring at his back while he was walking toward his father, and every step he takes is like a million daggers stabbing my heart. Then, all of a sudden— "Who are you threatening!? Fine! Make me suffer because I can endure it all, but I will never return to you!" Danrious yelled angrily at the top of his lungs after punching his father in the face, greatly shocking us both.

Sir Danilo touched his face where Dan punched him, and his facial expression quickly turned dark.

"Fine. It's a deal, Danrious. You made your decision. This is your last chance, Danrious," Sir Danilo said as he walked out of our apartment, leaving Danrious breathing heavily while standing at the same spot. I quickly stood up and approached Dan. I firmly held his hands, those hands that I thought decided to let go of me but to protect me.
