CHAPTER 52

When I landed at the gym where Audrey's practice game was starting, on the back of the bleachers, I put down her purse and the sandwiches I made for her. I took one more glance... and I saw a familiar face on the left side of the court—Sarah. Sarah is with Audrey at the tryout.

The world is really getting smaller between the two of us.

"Lorraine!" I whispered to Audrey's friend. She was just sitting in the bank, so I interrupted her.
