29: Seed of Innocence

The cold breeze of the night touched my skin and slid through my clothes, I felt the freezing sensation as the warmth left my body. My breathing started to get faster as I linger on the thoughts of what has been said. Couldn't believe that it would happen. I stared at her eyes and couldn't let go even for a second, staring directly as I tried to calculate the things she's talking about.

I could read it in her deepest thoughts, the desire and wants not to show she's not hating me at this very moment. Trying not to believe whatever she just claimed. I remained standing, gathering all the strength I still have to communicate my thoughts properly.

"Tell me, are they true?" There is a tinge of bitterness in every word that comes out of her mouth, it seems that she wants to bury me in the deepest darkness of the world to confess to a sin that I did not even think of doing.

"How can a seed become a tree if it was never thought to be planted in the first place?" I spoke figuratively while l
