Chapter 16: Meeting My Role Model
Layla's Perspective:
We've been home for almost three days after that meeting with Tyler. Amy is usually in contact with Noah, but Aiden Is occupied. I don't blame him because Noah was right. Noah was right that Aiden is meeting his enemy after 14 years, and it would be difficult for him to face him after all the things Tyler did to Aiden. I don't know what Tyler did to Aiden, but the way he is broken that much, it must be something, but I'll wait for him to open up to me. I need to do the same, opening up to him about my past someday, and I've been preparing myself for it.
I finally took the sip of the coffee from the coffee cup, which I was holding for almost like 10 mins. I was worried about so many things right now. And Tyler not calling Aiden for almost three days is one of them.
