Chapter 46: Harmless Joke

Aiden's perspective:

"What do you want now Tess?" I was annoyed by seeing her here every day and god knows how much I'm enduring her behavior. And who knows that how much longer I would be seeing her here.

"Oh, I just personally wanted to come and tell you that we'll be announcing results in an hour,"

"What do you mean by us?" I asked as I was confused because there was no way she was deciding on the results.

"Oh, Celine just handed me the results file. So you know I'm a part of it too even though I haven't seen the loss yet. Or should I check it now?" She said and was about to open the file when I asked her to hand it over to me. After making one of her irritating faces, she handed me the file.

The decision was taken by everyone except me because I believe their decisions in this matter. Most of all, I knew Celine had a good eye for people.

"What was this
