Chapter 54: Exposure

Acheron was sound asleep next to Raenerys as she opened her eyes. The sun must have been high, she frantically got up and looked for clothes before deciding to shower and quickly get dressed. She finished, and Acheron was still fast asleep in her bed. She can see his broad, bare back because the man is on all fours and his head is tilted. His brows were shot up, causing him to look stuck and grumpy—one of the things she could say that she liked about him.

Instead of waking him up, she decided not to. She preferred to go downstairs and leave Acheron to find out how to exit her room covertly. She thinks of him as a smartass, so she is confident that he can do it without her instructions or help.
