The morbid look on Maximus's face told the untold story.

"What else do you know about me, Aitana?"His tone had an edge that I couldn't decipher.

Alessandro rose from his place like a king, he was about to play the role of a predator who circles it's prey before killing it.

"Nothing much except your general family information, Ellen Maximus Whitford."Alessandro poured more drink in Maximus's glass.

I chose to be a mute spectator while Alessandro deal with him in his own way. I had not much to say to him nor I wanted to play the damsel in distress.

"So...you both found out who I actually am?"He licked his lips nervously like deer caught in headlight. He looked at me for some explanation but all I gave him a blank stare, tonight I wanted this sour chapter to be closed like the other times.
