I struggled for a moment to open my eyes only to shut them again as the bright light coming from the window and LED lights on the white ceiling were too much for them to adapt themselves. I tried to move my heavy body but winced as I felt a sharp sting on my right hand.An iv was inserted in my skin.

"Ana, baby you're awake."Alessandro's soft voice instantly relaxed me.After a few moments, I slowly opened my eyes only to see his concern laced face.

"Aless..."I weakly called out his name as my throat was dry.I found myself still on the hospital bed.

I should start calling it my second home now.

"What happened to me or the baby?"I asked as I really don't remember anything when I passed out.

"Your blood pressure was a bit high when you fainted but you're fine now.You literally scared the shit out of me."He stroked my cheeks with a faint smile on his face which didn't reach to his eyes.

"Mr. and Mrs. De Niro if you feel okay then we can start the scan otherwise we'll schedule it
