CHAPTER 36

Charlotte's POV

School was over before I knew it, and as soon as the closing bell rang, I rushed to my locker to drop all my things. I got my bag and soon found myself standing outside and waiting for Humphrey.

I couldn't believe I was going on a date with Humphrey! I had been trying to avoid him all morning, but now I was excited to spend time with him. He showed up soon with a smile on his face.

"Come on, Char, let's go. This is going to be so fun" He said pulling me towards his car and I giggled.

"Where are you taking me to?" I said as he got into his driver's seat.

"It's a surprise." Humphrey winked and started driving.

Maybe this wasn't a bad idea after all.

Humphrey surprised me and drove to a nearby amusement park. I had never been there before, and I couldn't wait to see what it had in store.
