CHAPTER 45

Charlotte's POV

The bell rang, signaling the beginning of the first class we had today. I walked to class with my eyes glued to the ground as everyone stared at me like I was some sort of alien. At first, I had been confused when I got to school and had so much attention, but now that I knew why everyone was staring and gossiping, I felt so embarrassed.

Brittany had spread terrible rumors about me, and I couldn't fight back because it was true. I put my lips, wondering how she had found out about what happened between Asher and me.

Did he tell her?

I walked into the class to see the class empty. I had been walking fast to avoid everyone, so I ended up coming to class super early, as classes usually started 10 to 20 minutes after the bell rang.

To my surprise, I wasn't the only one in the class. Asher was sitting at the back alone, with this phone, his legs crossed on the desk. As I saw him, I clenched my fists and felt angry. He was the reason I was feeling this way, miserable and r
