Jasmine's POV

I sat on the cold floor for minutes, trying to stabilize my breathing and gather energy. The girl had hit me so hard at the back of my head I was bleeding. Thankfully, the cut there was a tiny one, and I didn't bleed much, but it still hurts as hell.

I tried to heal myself, but I knew I couldn't fully heal myself, no matter how hard I tried. It was easier to heal others, but when it came down to healing myself, it was hard. I would usually sleep over it and wake up fine, but I couldn't, not in this situation. I was locked in a dark storage room for minutes with no one to help.

After banging on the door for a while, I lost all my strength and sat down, trying to gather energy. I focused on trying to stop the bleeding, which I successfully did, but I couldn't completely heal myself. I could only stop the bleeding and reduce the pain. My head still throbbed; I was already losing my breath. I needed to get out of the airtight room.
