Chapter 28: HEART OF MOUNT HILL

It had been three days since Hector realized he was in a strange place. A place where Hector didn't see anyone was only the figure of a strange old man. The old man used to come in early in the morning and let Hector take a sip of water and leave. Obviously he didn't give Hector any chance to speak, either, he was still sitting there, under the bamboo bed, waiting for his friend to wake up to free him.

It has been three days and Hector's stomach has nothing but a sip of water every morning, the old man has not given him anything to eat. Hector's body was about to be exhausted, the water was not enough to give him energy, the first day he struggled to get out of the hard and strong forest ropes; but until today he just had to sit there and let them squeeze on him every day. Several times a day Hector tries to wake Mathew, but contrary to his expectations, Hector only hears Mathew's snoring sounding steadily.
