Chapter 39 WE CAN RUN BUT NOT WITH OUR FEELINGS

Three days passed, and Anika and Jaz still ignored each other. Both are keeping their pride so high. No one wants to put down their guard. Jaz followed Drake's advice to avoid Anika for the time being.

"Anika, how is your friend? Jaz? Why don't you invite her to dinner sometime here at home." Alejandro's statement to her daughter while they shared a meal in the dining.
