I secretly looked at her while we were eating. Jaz's beauty has not faded even after eight years. She doesn't look like she has a child.

"Did you like it?" Our eyes met when she faced up. She immediately avoided it. I feel she still has feelings for me. I think she agreed in exchange for the money she borrowed, not only because she was desperate but because she still loved me.

Am I wrong to think that way? Why would someone agree to have sex with an ex-lover just for money? But perhaps, it's not really about it but her beloved son.

I inhaled, consuming the frustration I was holding.
