CHAPTER FORTY NINE.

Nathan slowly opened his eyes and yawned lightly before dragging his body to a seating position.

Yawning lightly again, he pressed the bell on his bedside table and Bunny immediately entered the room.

“Boss” he bowed respectfully.

“What is the time?” Nathan inquired.

“ a few minutes past twelve boss”

“What?” The big boss suddenly yelled, “why didn’t you wake me up? I was supposed to listen to Nessa’s interview”

“I am sorry sir, I thought you didn’t need any disturbances”

“Fuck” the blind man cussed lightly as he closed his eyes,

“just give her a call for me”

He was already feeling bad for missing her interview, this was not what he planned. He wanted to badly hear her voice over the television and feel proud of her but..

“Boss” Bunny interrupted his train of thoughts and he handed Nathan the phone while he briskly walked out of the room and the blind man pressed the phone against his ears.

“Baby” Audrey’s voice filtered into his ears, “how are you?”
