CHAPTER FOURTEEN.

Dressed in a pair of blue trousers and a white Tee to match, Audrey had her hair in a ponytail as she made her way downstairs to get Nathan’s coffee for him. There she met his parents having their morning tea and her heart skipped a beat, his father obviously didn’t like her and she also didn’t want to be in his presence either but being in this house she would not be able to escape him.

“Good morning Mr and Mrs Hernandez” she bowed respectfully but the man ignored her and focused his attention on the television while Louisa gave her a little smile.

“How is Nathan?”

“He is perfectly fine ma, he will take his bath and come down soon”

With that she hastily entered the kitchen leaving the husband and wife duo to themselves.

“Are you trying to bring your military tactics into this house?” Louisa couldn’t help but ask.

“I don’t want her to be overly comfortable here, I don’t want her as my daughter in law”

Louisa raised an eyebrow while slurping her on tea, “then you prefer Vanessa then?”
