“Ma’am,” they chorused in a low voice.

“I thought it hard and thoroughly why some bosses are so strict on their workers… I wondered why my husband restricted you all to not communicating with each other and I get it now… I mean, it is all so clear now,” I started, making sure I looked at least intimidating.

I can’t appear weak in front of these people who just mocked me.

It was going to be like I just agreed to whatever they said.
