AUTHOR’S POV.

After Daniel left Sapphire’s room, the woman exhaled deeply and shook her head at her vulnerability.

Remembering she had just kissed the man and acted weak in front of him without minding what he was going to think of her, she tightened her eyes shut and pulled the duvet over her head.

“Jesus Christ, Sapphire,” she groaned when she remembered asking him to love her also.

Of course, she was hurt, and that was the reason she had acted that way, but, had she not gone too extreme?

As her mind pictured Daniel’s face, she felt her cheek turn hot and she bit her lower lips gently.

She thought she knew everything about the man but that was wrong as he proved her wrong.

The man was so mysterious and unpredictable, God knows that much. He acts cold, and at times, he acts like he does not give a damn about her but with what happened earlier, she almost assumed that Daniel was another person.

He showed it that he was worried and he even promised to hurt whoever hurt her.
