Chapter 24: Sympathy

Those bitter and sad memories filled her again. She thought she would live happily with her mother, they would never visit the hospital anymore. They could enjoy the beautiful days together. But turned out the reality took her mother away from her.

Aria thought she could stop herself from crying, but when Alex put his arm around her, her tears flowed and she sobbed.

Alex had never been in this situation before, he didn't know how to calm anyone, let alone the girl who was crying next to him.
