THE FOLLOWING DAY, Thanatos greeted Hades first thing in the morning, having brought with him the news that he had been able to successfully schedule an appointment with Poseidon.
“Why do you look so uncertain?” Hades told Thanatos while riding their way.
“It sounded a bit strange. Poseidon is so easy to reach now compared to before. ” Thanatos gave his response. The choices he made with his words made it clear that he was harboring some uncertainty in his mind, which he was unable to conceal.
“Shouldn't we just make the most of the opportunity that's been presented to us, seeing as how it seems to have given us leverage?”

Hades paid no attention to the hotel manager and casually made his way inside while passing the reception desk. After a while, he stopped bothering to inquire with anyone else. He didn't waste any time and went straight to the elevator, where he dialed Thanatos' numbers once more. “Hello, have you learned it yet?” Almost immediately, Hades questioned him.“The tenth floor has a solo unit with an extension of the penthouse. Hades did not even give Poseidon the opportunity to finish his sentence before walking away and ordering one of Poseidon's men to prepare a table for them to sit at. Hades had found the ideal position for himself on the reclining black futon, which he almost considered to be a sex bed.“Mother wants to see all of us for dinner this coming Friday.” Hades finally said it.Without uttering a single word, Zeus simply turned his head in Hades' direction while maintaining a blank expression on his face. He was still unsure as to whether or not Hades was playing a joke on him, but the subsequent few seconds of silence convinced him that Hades was indeed being serious about what he had just said.As Zeus responded, "Brother, I'm afraid I might not be able to join on Friday night," he could hardly muster up a smile.“How come?” Hades abruptly asked.

A day after Hades took a brief getaway from his office to meet up with his two brothers, he and Thanatos boarded their flight back to North Carolina to prepare for dinner with Rheis.As one might have anticipated, Hades took the necessary precautions to ensure that the dinner would go off without a hitch. During the time that preparations were being made for the dinner that only took place once in a blue moon, the dining room of the mansion had been given a fresh coat of glitz and glamour.Rheis would frequently dine by herself at the lengthy rectangular table in the dining room, which had seating for approximately twenty individuals. It sounded and appeared to be way too lonely, but that such a scene had been the case ever since Zeus and Poseidon lived outside of the mansion and settled for their own places outside of the state.
